What is the root canal treatment?
- The outermost layer of the upper part of the teeth consists of enamel tissue, and the bottom layer consists of yellow dentin tissue. Inside the tooth, there is a pulp tissue, also known as nerve tissue, which consists of vessels, nerves and connective tissues and gives the tooth its vitality. The pulp extends to the root tip through the channels inside the root and is connected to the body’s main vascular-nervous system from the root tip. The process of removing the pulp from the tooth root, developing root canals and filling these areas with filling material is called root canal treatment.
In what cases is a root canal treatment necessary?
